Best little dryer
I am a professional dog groomer. I use this little dryer a lot. It works great for the nervous dogs. The brush attachment is amazing. I will start with this dryer before a more powerful dryer to introduce the noises of the job. Great for a back up 100% (great for faces and ears too) It’s light weight heats up quickly when heat is used Makes hair fluffy and soft with more air flow than expected And it has a low and high power setting

Good dryer
My dog tolerates this blow dryer pretty well. It is not quiet but it is not too loud. He has gotten more acclimated to it. I have used it about 4 times now. It helps to start away from the ears and face and as they realize it isn’t going to hurt them they get ok with it. He does not love it. But he has itchy skin so I have to bathe him every two weeks with medicated shampoo. I DO THINK he is LESS itchy now that I don’t towel dry him and instead use the dryer. The heat settings are great. I use it almost totally on the warmest setting. He gets dryer, faster with the dryer than with only towel drying. He is a short haired dog. I am very pleased with this dryer. The length of the cord gives some convenience. It blows warm / hot enough for us. Even on the hottest setting, it is not too hot. It makes both our lives easier. He is a fearful dog but he is ok with the process. Introducing it with patience and caution helps. He is not crazy about the blowing and sound near his ears and face. But he tolerates it plus I start with other areas and give him lots of gentle assurances as we work through the drying. This dryer and attachments seem safe and well made. Good value for the money. I am happy with this product.

Lightweight Powerhouse – Perfect Dog Dryer for Home & Travel!
I absolutely love the Jellyfish Dog Dryer! It’s incredibly lightweight at just 1.21 lbs, making it super easy to handle, especially when drying my energetic pup. Despite its compact size, the airflow is impressively strong with 2 speeds and 4 temperature settings to choose from.It works fast, is surprisingly quiet, and my dog doesn’t get scared of it like other loud dryers. I also appreciate how portable it is — ideal for grooming at home or packing for travel. A must-have for pet parents who want convenience and performance in one cute package!

Comparing this to two other Dog Dryers
I was super excited to find this. If you have ever used a high powered dog dryer on a high shedding thickly double coated dog before, you’ll know from experience just how game changing owning one of these can be. I have a large dryer, similar to the blue dryer I attached in the photo. It’s large and heavy, but does an incredible job drying. I’ve gone through a few of them over the years, and despite having had two others that broke down, I have always repurchased. In comparison to professional grooming, it has saved me lots of money, and is so useful for shedding season.Finding a handheld dryer that claims to be just as powerful was too tempting for me to pass up. I purchased this one as well as the JellyFish and compared all three.The JellyFish and the UahPet are very similar. The UahPet in my opinion offered more diversity in attachments, felt a little thinner and sleeker, the power cord is slightly longer, and also offered more options in strength. The JellyFish offers two, while UahPet offers three. On first glance, I preferred the UahPet and thought they were basically the same, but after actually trying to use them to dry, the JellyFish proved to be a bit more powerful. I think it is because the nozzles are thinner which makes the air burst feel stronger.As you’d expect, both of these are lighter and quieter than my clunky high powered dog dryer, and both look better aesthetically. The problem is, neither of these are anywhere near as powerful. I think after attempting to dry using the UahPet, I got so tired, I swapped it for the larger one, which finished up beautifully. I can’t imagine taking 20-30 mins+ just to dry my dog off. My large dryer takes far less time. Also, while the base of my large dryer is very heavy, the nozzle and hose are light, making it easy to use.If you are using a traditional hair dryer on your dog, yes, this will work better for your pet than that. This is also more travel friendly than a large clunky dryer. I was thinking of keeping one of these so long as they worked to use for travel, but after trying it out and directly comparing, I’m not sure if I will anymore. Such a bummer, it looks so much better, and if it could work as well, would be an easy decision to keep.As for price, my large clunky dryer was easily somewhere between 1/2 to 1/4th the price, if not cheaper. UahPet was about $10 cheaper than the JellyFish using the coupon, but they’re comparable in cost. If you have the space and noise capacity for a larger dryer, it works much better. If you don’t and don’t mind the time, I guess one of these handheld dryers might be okay for you. If you have a curly haired pet, I think the UahPet might be best. Just some things to consider.UPDATE I decided to keep the JellyFish and return the UahPet. Despite preferring the UahPet in almost every way, the JellyFish had just a bit more strength which made enough difference to prefer during use. If I had a smaller pet or a pet with curly hair I may have kept the UahPet instead, but my dog has a long wooly and thick undercoat, and we needed the highest power setting using the smaller nozzle to really get her dry. After trying both out, it was a clear winner.It’s bittersweet, I really liked the UahPet more in all the other ways. I just really need something that can help cut drying time and be convenient to take around too. If it worked as well as the JellyFish in drying, I would have kept it instead.

Game changer for us. Absolutely LOVE this for our Doodles!
I was very excited when this arrived, so I tested it and neither of our dogs wanted anything to do with it. I gave it about a week and introduced it to each of them separately with it turned OFF but plugged in and let them sniff it. After it passed the sniff test, I held it out as far as I could and turned it on the low speed cool temp and gave it a few seconds before turning it so they could feel the breeze and progressed from there.A little later in the day, they had baths and I was able to use the Jellyfish on both speeds and varying temps. They both did prefer the low speed around their faces and ears, but I wasn’t surprised by that at all. Using this dog dryer cut drying time down considerably and also fluffed them out nicely. The size of this was easy to control and use with one hand. The attachments were easy on and off and worked well with both temps, just got a little warmer on the high speed.The straight design makes for less bending and for me that meant that it was easier on my back since I typically sit on the floor with them for drying.One of our pups is a four year old rescue. We have had her since August. Not knowing her history, I didn’t know how she would respond, but like I have said they both did really well with the Jellyfish. To me it seemed even quieter than my hair dryer which I have used with them up to now. I am very, very happy with this purchase and would recommend!

The best dog dryer ever!

This dryer has dramatically improved grooming for our 2 Shihtzu dogs. What once took ages now takes only 15 minutes, thanks to its efficient drying power. The fur is left fluffy, untangled, and smooth, with no discomfort for our dogs. The cold, warm, and hot settings are incredibly useful, especially for pets that get chilly easily. We mainly use the warm and hot options for quick and cozy drying.The quiet operation does not scare our dogs. It’s also much more effective than using a human hair dryer, which lacked power, got too hot and left the dogs damp for too long.It’s expensive compared to other dryers but worth every penny. It’s efficient, pet-friendly, and makes grooming a breeze. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their dog’s drying experience! We love ours! We give it all paws up!

Excellent dryer! Best ever!
I absolutely cannot Rave enough about this dryer for your dog! I can’t believe that the noise bothered my dogs I have two Terriers and unfortunately they couldn’t take that noise it was like a humming it’s not that it’s allowed it’s just a certain pitch that they couldn’t tolerate so I had to return this but if your dog is not bothered by a dryer noise this is the best dryer I’ve ever tried it’s a lightweight it dried them instantly but they just couldn’t get past the noise it freaked them out so I had to return it but excellent dryer!

Too loud and high pitched for my dog
This dog dryer works pretty good and definitely has a strong blow on high settings.My problem with it is that it is way too high pitched of a sound for my dog. The sound itself doesn’t seem too loud as a person but it definitely is a high pitched sound that can trigger a really bad reaction from dogs.My golden doodle gets groomed regularly, but we still also bathe him ourselves once or twice a month. I usually use my hair dryer which my dog has zero issues with. He literally just lays there and plays with a toy when I dry him with that….But here he was just absolutely terrified of the sound of this dryer. He was shaking in fear the entire time and I couldn’t stand using it after that.Again, he goes to a good groomer and they always praise him to how good he does in there! And he always comes out of there super happy and excited (same with going in). I imagine they have a very high powered blow dryer and it doesn’t seem to phase him much.So yea, this dryer here is not going to work for us. It’s way too loud and high pitched. I would relate the sound to a vacuum cleaner. Maybe less decibels of sound overall, but again very high.It does have 2 settings of speed, high and low. My dog was able to tolerate the lower speed because the sound was less but the lower speed on this thing kind of sucks and isn’t really going to get the job done. It would take forever if I tried drying him completely on the lower speed. Better off with my hair dryer.Would have maybe been ok with a medium setting? But all you get is a really weak low setting and a really powerful yet loud high setting.Maybe your dog will be ok with the sound… but that’s my experience with it.

Great dog dryer
I’ve been using the Jellyfish Handheld Dog Dryer for 4 months. One of my pups, he’s a Havanese, has some “clinger” issues, if you know what I mean, and we frequently have to bathe his rear end. This dryer is great. The button settings are easy to use and understand. I have trouble with my hands, and this dryer has a comfortable grip, both in the body of the dryer and the button settings. Make sure you move the dryer around to different parts of your pet – I do a sweeping back and forth motion. Otherwise, it gets really hot if the dryer sits in one space. My dog handles this dryer well. The noise level seemed equivalent to a regular hair dryer you would use on your hair.

Easy & fast
Super lightweight & so easy to use! My lab doesn’t mind blow dryers to begin with so noise level or strength isn’t a worry for her (it really isn’t even that loud) recommend a “happy hoodie” if you have a dog who is scared of noise. I also love that you can adjust the temp! I like this way more than our bigger groomer size dryer! Would definitely buy again if something ever happens to this one!
