Great and sharp clippers for thick nails
I have two medium sized dogs (30 and 40 lbs) my old clippers were crushing or splintering my 40 lb dogs nails and wanted to try something different. After some research I settled on these, and glad I did. They are super sharp and cleanly cut his nails. I have small hands, have a hard time finding small enough women’s gloves to fit, and don’t find any issues with the grip and use of these clippers. I’ve had larger dogs in the past (rottweilers) and could see these easily working for their thick nails…highly recommend!

Sharp and Solid
Good quality clippers. They feel solid, and are very sharp. I like theock feature for travel. I do find the guard kind of annoying. It is to far away to prevent damage to the quip. I suppose it stops you from cutting way into the quip, but you can still easily harm your dog, especially with smaller breeds. If it wasn’t for the guard, I would give them a 5.

Good quality clippers
Perfect for dogs with larger nails. The grip on this is much more comfortable and secure than another brand I purchased.

Necessary for pet nails
Very durable and effective when trimming my lab’s nails. Good angle, easy to use, and can be very fast when my pup cooperates. Durable and hefty in the hand, easily trims thick nails. Safe to see the nail veins, and clean cutting without tearing or ripping nails. Recommended for dog owners.

Easy, not ruff nail care for my dog!
My 80 lb dog had long nails that needed to be cut, the Large Clippers worked great. The clippers were sharp and didn’t splinter her thick nails. Would the Epica brand.

Tight squeeze
I’m not impressed with these. The squeeze is tight, and the cut is not smooth. Maybe I got a defective pair??? I have 9 year old great dane, and been clipping her nails since she was a pup, so I am experienced. Pretty bummed this is a no for me 🙁

Best large-dog nail clippers- a must have for easy nail grooming.
I have a large dog with large nails and many of those nails are black and hard to see. The problem with grinder nail clippers is that the vibration and the noise tend to annoy the dog and make them uncomfortable. Plus, larger nails take a longer time and it’s just easier to clip the nail and then finish with a grinder for smoothing and refining the cut. To cut the nail when it is a large dog requires better nail clippers than is generally available locally. Fortunately, these arrived quickly and they are large and sharp, and cut through the nails quickly, cleanly, with no irritation or pain for my dog. I was able to trim the black nails a little at a time to safely lower their length. Each trim was quick and painless. We were done really quickly and he was left in a much better position for walking without discomfort. These are very large and a must-have for large-pawd dogs.

First nail clippers that got the job done !!
We have a large Labrador mix dog (weighs about 125 lbs). He hates to have his thick nails cut. These are the first clippers that he would lay still for me to use. They are super quick to cut the nail – squeezing them like a pair of pliers is so much easier. They did a great job!!! So glad I got them.
