Gentle and Effective – My Dog Loves It!
I recently tried the Honest Paws Dog Shampoo on my best friend, and I’m really happy with the results. What stood out to me immediately was how gentle it seemed. Some dog shampoos have a strong, chemical smell, but this one has a much more natural and pleasant scent (if it has one – adjust accordingly!).More importantly, it did a fantastic job of cleaning my dog’s coat without leaving it feeling dry or irritated. He actually seemed to enjoy his bath more than usual, which is always a win! I appreciate that Honest Paws focuses on natural ingredients, and I feel good using this product on my beloved pet. Almost, but not quite, perfect shampoo
This shampoo made my dogs feel so soft. They’ve never felt that soft before. I have 5 acres of woods fenced in for my dogs, so they are always dirty. Takoa likes to roll on nasty, smelly things. She seems to be on the hunt for the perfect dog perfume and doesn’t seem to care that she can clear a room of people with her perpetual stench. This shampoo gets rid of that stench and leaves her feeling silky and soft. It is also gentle on her skin, which is great since she requires a lot of baths. I have a before and after of the Stench Queen, but the photos only show that she did get cleaner. They can’t show how soft her coat was after the bath.The only thing I don’t like about this shampoo is the smell. I’m not really sure what the scent is supposed to be, but it is strong and it makes me sneeze. It would be the perfect shampoo if the smell was faint, or if there was a scentless version. If I could handle the smell, I would be using this shampoo for my grooming business. Because the smell is so strong, I don’t use this every time my dogs need a bath. I didn’t take any stars away on the overall rating for the scent because some people may not mind it, I just can’t handle it on a regular basis.

Very liquidy
Smells fantastic and does the job. Not sure if it is always this way but my bottle is very watery which makes it more difficult to handle. It also makes me feel like I paid for mostly water which does not feel like a good deal. If I knew the next bottle would be a more normal shampoo thickness I would buy again. But without knowing for sure, I will pass.

I can’t say enough good things about this plant-based dog shampoo. My French Bulldog has always struggled with allergies and dander and shedding everywhere. After trying multiple products with no real improvement, I gave this one a shot based on the ingredients and good reviews.What a difference. After just one bath, his skin looked calmer, and his coat felt softer and cleaner without that typical “dog shampoo” residue. Over the next few weeks, the dander almost disappeared, and he’s been noticeably more comfortable. And the scent is light, clean, and not overpowering.I love that it’s plant-based and gentle, so I don’t worry about harsh chemicals irritating his skin. This stuff is officially part of our routine now. If you have a dog with sensitive skin or allergy issues, I highly recommend trying this!

Didn’t lather or clean well
This shampoo and conditioner did NOT lather or clean my dog’s coat very well. That’s kind of the whole point for a dog shampoo so I stopped buying it and found something else that is more effective.
