Easy to use on your pet and easy to clean
Bought this for my cat. I had a different brush for him and mostly struggled cleaning the brush. With this brush I was able brush my cats heart leaving his hair soft and removing hair from the brush was no issue.There is tangle resistance but that’s not due to the brush mostly made sure I was able to safely untangle my cats fair which helps a lot.Definitely was the perfect size for brushing my cat.I do feel the money was worth it for this product.

Great product!
Works great and my 25.3 inch cat loves it! So easy to use, very effective when used properly, super easy to clean, the brush is so strong you would have to be very rough with it just to damage it. Totally worth the price, bristles could be softer but they are still very soft. Very effective for picking up that loose hair it works like a charm. I got the green one because that my cat Oreo’s favorite color and so is mine! This a very nice product with a great design super lightweight too which is good. Very easy to store away as well so all around a good buy and is a must for most cat or dog owners💯.

Self Cleaning Slicker Brush
This product is great! No more pulling the dog hair out of the brittles of my old brush. I took off one star because the brittles could be a bit longer. The brush works great on my Labs but if you have a thick coated long haired dog, it may not work as well. But overall, I’m highly satisfied.

A MUST HAVE FOR LAB OWNERS
Used this on my black lab (who normally doesn’t care to be brushed) and it works great. He has been shedding so much getting ready for his winter coat and this brush is amazing. Less hair in the house and LOTS of hair in the brush and super easy to clean.

If your cat is like my Lizzie she will smile and await your bonding ritual of brushing when the Swihauk appears! This is SO GOOD for the scalp, I never see Kitty scratching anymore. Great Brush with blunted bristles and the button makes for very easy cleaning
I like the blunted bristles, it seems that it is better for the dog if they get to the skin. The button to clear fur works great the bristles completely retract leaving the hair sitting on the surface.

Use with gentleness.
I am giving this tool a 3 star and I’ll explain why. The tool design itself is an awesome piece of ingenuity that alone is worthy of a 5 star. However the tines/ metal bristles that retract are of cheap quality so much that being very very very gentle using it bends them up on fine, soft and smooth pet coats. This means over a short time the tool will not perform as it was constructed to do. I have several dog brushes with metal tines/bristles that do not bend no matter how hard I stroke my pets coats. When I first saw this products bristles I knew immediately I’d have to ne extra gentle on the strokes while brushing. Do I think people should buy this? Yes and No. If your pet has short and fine hair you should do okay. Maybe smaller pets at most. If you have a medium or larger pet with medium or longer hair I’d suggest looking for something else. They might reduce pricing because though the design is great, the quality is not aswell.

Love This Brush
I have a black lab and live in Florida. She sheds constantly throughout the year. She also loves to have her butt scratched. This is the first brush that she doesn’t try to get away from. It must be good for the scratching or she would not tolerate it. As far as how I feel about it, I am so impressed with the ease of cleaning of the shedded fur off the brush. It works with just a push of the button and doesn’t require any use of another object to clean the “bristles”. Big plus when your dog sheds as much as mine does. I don’t recall what it cost, but I am sure that it is worth every penny. This is a keeper!!

Why Didn’t I invent This?
What didn’t I invent this? :)I have 2-3 furminator type brushes that I’ve used over the past 10 years. They do a pretty good job, but one of my recent adoptees has a very heavy undercoat and I’d be spending 20 minutes with the furminator. This brush cuts the time in half. I don’t know how it will hold up over the long run, but I’ve had it for week and it’s performed much better than I anticipated. As long as I have a trash can nearby it’s a breeze.
