Outstanding Food for Senior Dogs – A Complete Game-Changer!
I recently made the switch from Blue Buffalo to Victor Hi Pro Plus for my two older Schnoodles (ages 11 and 13), and the difference has been nothing short of remarkable. From the very first meal, both dogs practically dance with excitement at feeding time – they can’t wait to dive in and devour every kibble. It’s the first time in years I’ve seen this level of genuine enthusiasm for their food; they truly love the taste.Beyond the obvious enjoyment, the health benefits showed up quickly. Within a couple of weeks I noticed noticeably firmer, smaller stools (always a welcome sign of better digestion and nutrient absorption). Their energy levels have climbed; these “senior” pups are acting years younger with more spring in their step on walks and playtime. Their coats, which were already nice, have taken on an even softer, shinier quality that I can feel every time I pet them.Perhaps the cherry on top is the value. Victor Hi Pro Plus delivers everything I was getting from Blue Buffalo (and more) at a significantly better price point. It’s genuinely refreshing to find a high-protein, premium-quality food that doesn’t come with the premium price tag.If you’ve been on the fence about trying Victor, take it from someone who was loyal to another brand for over a decade: make the switch. My Schnoodles thank me every day, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly, highly recommend!

One of the best dog foods we’ve found
We’ve been feeding our dogs VICTOR Super Premium Hi‑Pro Plus for quite some time and have no complaints at all. Both of our dogs love the taste and always finish their bowls, and the high protein content (beef, chicken, pork and fish meals) has kept them energetic and healthy. Their coats are shiny, and they’ve never had any digestive issues, which speaks to the quality of the ingredients. Overall, it’s one of the best dog foods we’ve found, and we’ll keep using it.

Great Nutrition and Energy
Though I’ve been ordering pet supplies from Amazon for a few years, and this is the first time I’ve written a review. A few months ago, I rescued a golden retriever mix named Bo. He had been living outside in our cold northern climate at his previous home. He was suspicious of everything, didn’t have much of an appetite from stress, had a horrible matted coat, and really lacked energy or interest. I tried feeding him this Victor hi pro formula because it was high in protein which I thought would help his energy levels. I also liked Victor because while the ingredient quality is similar to premium brands, it is more reasonable on price.Bo immediately liked the food. He started eating well and gaining energy. Though he is eight, he now runs around and plays like a puppy even chasing his tail. His skin and coat were a mess from sleeping in the dirt at his old home, but now his coat is filling out and looking more full and healthy. I’m sure having a better home is part of his success, but I also think this Victor food is helping him greatly. Bo will be getting his Victor as long as I can help it.

Good food but bad batch or sent expired??
Bad batch/expired???? We have been getting this dog food for multiple dogs for many years. We recently found we could get through subscribe and save and were very happy. Our most recent order seems to be a bad batch. Our 2 dogs are both leaving food behind, which Ive NEVER seen them do. It also has that kind of stale smell that old food,of any kind, gets. So maybe not a bad batch just old/expired. I dont know because I threw away the bag. We get a big bag every 2 mo and only opened this one about a weeks ago. It took a bit to realize the dogs were not interested in their food, so we missed our return window. Going to have to buy a new one and toss this bunch

Great quality for the price!
A dog trainer I worked with gave this to his bite k-9 dogs. It was said to be quality but reasonably priced. So I’ve been giving it to my active redbone coon hound who’s a 3 year old male and Intact. I figured he would benefit from this high protein variety that has 4 different animal proteins. He really loves the taste! It does not smell like average dog food. It actually smells like fresh raw meat (not great to me) but great to him! The kibbles are small so I think good for digestion. We also add in wet food, real meat and oils or grease to his evening meal. Sometimes just a bit of kibble in the morning but he primarily eats one good meal a day. I’m lucky that a farm and pet store up the road sells this. Unfortunately the chain pet stores don’t sell this and I wish they did, and they should. Luckily Amazon sells a variety of bag sizes and I’m sure you could also get it from chewy. I definitely suggest this if you want to feed your dog a quality food with less filler.EDIT: Pet supplies plus (chain pet store) also sells this

High Protein- Low Price
Very positive reaction from my pup! He was trying to open the box and emptied his bowl very quickly. Excited to find a formula with high protein for a reasonable price. I wanted to find a formula without fillers or byproducts and I think this is it for us.
