Finally! The PERFECT brush!
Finally! This is the BEST BRUSH of all! My 7 pound baby thinks it’s spa day and LOVES being brushed. She’ll stay there all day and keep asking for more which is a world apart from the struggles we had before. We’ve been through a lot of brushes and I’m happy to have found this one at last. It’s perfect for a Havanese’s double coat, is gentle, doesn’t pull, and when I follow up with a comb afterward, nearly all the tangles have magically melted away. The brush is too big, really, for a 7 pound dog, but since they don’t make a smaller one, I make do since this brush works so well on her coat and she really enjoys being brushed now.

Just get it! Your dogs with be forever grateful!
I will FOREVER RECOMMEND this brush! Finally my 2 mini poodles do not HATE getting brushed! They used to run and would even yelp but now brushing their curly thick hair is a breeze! This brush is so gentle yet effective! The duel level of the bristles also helps ensure to get all the way to the skin avoiding matting! Other brushes used to have so much hair in them after brushing but this brush has minimal hair making me feel there is less damage/breakage due to the gentle design of the brush! My dogs are much happier with this brush! I wish it came in different sizes and shapes!

My dog tolerates this vs other slicker brushes likely bc of the coated pins.Very good basic brush to own.

Sturdy, easy to use
I have a Pyreneese w/a heavy double coat. It’s effective, easy to use w/the padded handle. It’s a necessary addition to all the tools I’m using to keep her coat looking good and more importantly, removing burrs/foxtails that could cause future skin/health issus. She just wishes I wouldn’t brush her at all! I haven’t found a tool for that, yet!

Quality Dog Brush for Less
I bought four different dog brushes in the $12 to $24 range, to see which was best. This was my favorite by far, and guess what…it cost $12. I use this to brush my standard poodles. It cleans their coats, fluffs them nicely, and they don’t mind being brushed–maybe even enjoy it. You really don’t need to buy a $50+ designer dog brush.

Great for double coated Australian Cattle Dog!
Kenji prefers the dual pins and soft flexible pad of this WAHL brush over his other slicker brush. By brushing AGAINST his fur first it loosens the dead undercoat, then brushing in the direction of fur the brush picks up and collects the fur. I was amazed how much fur I got, at least 3 to 4 times more than my other brand! I use a Boar’s hair brush for his head, legs, underbody, and as a final brushing over where I used the slicker to pick up any loose hair and dander.Highly recommend!

Good for fluffing, a bit soft for tangles
Pro groomer. Initially bought this for my bather when looking for a little softer slicker for her to use as I like a firmer brush (I’m pretty light handed and firmer bristles suit my brushing pressure and technique). Ended up getting one for myself as well, though it’s definitely not my go-to brush. It’s quite soft and will not scratch up the dog. It fluffs REALLY well (which is why I got myself one) and is great for poodles, bichons, and doodles with a more poodly coat who are kept short. Not great for detangling tho as the bristles are short and just a bit too soft to work the tangles out very effectively which is why I’d recommend it be used on dogs that are kept short

Fantastic for removing brambles, hitchhikers, sand spurs and matts.
Surprisingly pleased! I have two Toy Havanoodle dogs. One has a Havanese coat and the other a Poodle coat. This brush works well on both dogs. Fantastic for removing brambles, hitchhikers, sand spurs and matts. The girls and I like it much better than the two spendy CC slicker brushes I’ve spent a small fortune on. Very comfortable in the hand. Get this brush!

Nice design, but not the best for ultra thick undercoats
This brush doesn’t really penetrate my woolly husky’s extremely thick and dense coat very well, but she protests less when I use it. I think the shape of the bristles and balls on the tips of some of them must make it more comfortable for her. I still need to use a regular slicker brush to get out any deep mats or knots though. This brush works better on the parts of her fur that are shorter and have less thick undercoat (she has 4 different brushes, all for different purposes/parts of her body). This brush is decent for maintenance, mainly because she actually lets me use it without requiring that I give her a treat every 30 seconds! 🙂
